Dr Rattan is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with extensive clinical experience in gastrointestinal and liver disorders. These can be problems arising from the esophagus, stomach, small and large bowel, liver, gall bladder, bile ducts and pancreas. Patients with conditions affecting these organs may have symptoms including abdominal pain, unexplained weight loss, jaundice, indigestion, reflux, difficulty swallowing or eating, diarrhoea, constipation and bleeding from the bowel.

Dr Rattan provides a high quality, evidence based, safe, personalised and comprehensive service covering all aspects of gastrointestinal care. Dr Rattan performs diagnostic and endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy, colonoscopy and capsule endoscopy.

Dr Arti Rattan completed an Advanced Fellowship in EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound) and Endoscopic management of Barrett’s oesophagus at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. She worked as a Gastroenterologist with Queensland Health following completion of Advanced Training in Gastroenterology at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney. She is a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia, American Gastroenterological Association, Conjoint Committee for recognition of training in gastrointestinal endoscopy and European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr Arti Rattan performs gastroscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound for diagnosis and therapy of gastrointestinal and liver disorders. She is a Bariatric endoscopist with special interest in Gastric Balloon Implantation and Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty.

Dr Rattan speaks several languages – English, Hindi, Kashmiri, Punjabi and Urdu.

Dr Rattan consults at her Campbelltown and Randwick offices and performs endoscopy procedures at Campbelltown Private Hospital, Liverpool Day Surgery, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Alexandria Specialist Day Hospital and at Wollongong Public Hospital (Shoalhaven Local Health District). She is also a conjoint Lecturer with the University of New South Wales.
